A lot of people got laid off at the end of 2008 and in the early part of 2009. A lot of the people who were affected couldn't find work and ended up in the unemployment lines. Some people made the decision to instead get new training from a local truck driving school. Our focus here is to help those that attended a truck driving school find a great truck driving job.



As I stated earlier, in 1992 I became an over-the-road truck driver. In the fall of that year, my father passed away. When you're driving down the road in a big truck, you have the opportunity to do lots of thinking. One day, as I recall, my JD Truck Training Centre was out in the great northwest, Montana to be exact. Thinking of my past, my dad, and where I was, I started to create a poem. 4) Test and receive your CDL. The CDL is required for anyone who wants to drive tractor trailers, buses, tow trucks, and other trucks which way at least 26,000 pounds. Most states require the future driver to be at least 21, although there are states that will issue a CDL to ages as low as 18. The CDL's are only good for the driver's residence, but if you want to get started early, hopefully you reside in one of these states. There are several endorsements that you can apply for once you receive your CDL, including Hazardous Materials and Tank Trucks, but those are for later in your career. The advantage to this type of Truck driving school is the cost. It will be less expensive compared to a private school. If you are in a rush to become a truck driver, then you should also consider the time. A public institution with trucking schools take longer to complete compare to a private school. You should compare the cost, curriculum and the time that it will take to complete the course from both a private and public facility to see which is best for you.

Because really, why should the state care if you can do a blindside parallel park? It's not like you're going to be using this maneuver to jockey into a parking space on the public roadways.

Upon discharge from active duty he was assigned to Fort Hamilton as I had been. Living in Brooklyn it was logical that he would spend his six years of active army reserve at this fort. With plenty of behind the wheel experience and several endorsements, you will not only be able to find the Utah truck driving job you want, but you are sure to have a long and successful truck driving career.
